We're like little fish outta water this morning with the news that the NSW government has decided to move to a more comprehensive shut-down of non-essential services during COVID-19.
It's with a sad heart I've made the decision to pause all swimming lessons at In The Deep until we wash out the other side of this COVID-19 crisis. What matters is that everyone in our community has the best opportunity to keep safe and stay healthy.
No doubt you're at a bit of a loss as to what the impact will be — to all of us — in the coming weeks and months, as we prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Please be assured we'll be opening up lessons and returning to the water as soon we're advised it's safe to do so. We want kids swimming and back to their normal routines as soon as possible.
We'll be keeping in touch with you all as the crisis unfolds with updates on how long and to what extent this'll affect our community. I encourage you to stay connected with your In The Deep swim family through our Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as our newsletter. We're also here if you have any questions.
I'm feeling really blessed with our team and community and I thank you all so much for your support and understanding during these trying times.
We’re confident we’ll navigate COVID-19, knowing we’ll get through this together as a community and come out stronger, more aware and compassionate to the needs of others, more appreciative of the resilience of our incredible country, more passionate about the importance of our health (…and perhaps a bit cleaner 😊) than ever before!
Please be assured that we'll be providing unlimited make up lessons for any students enrolled in swimming lessons during the terms affected by the crisis, for the remainder of 2020.
Please be well, do your best to keep finding things to smile and laugh at and most importantly take Dory's words to heart; just keep swimming, swimming, swimming 💕
Together we'll find our way!
